Spring Trip 2022 to Orianne Center for Indigo Conservation
Trip Details
Trip Details
Good afternoon. I hope you all are well. I am getting so excited about our trip to visit the Orianne Center for Indigo Conservation next week. This will be such a great opportunity for us to learn about endangered and threatened reptile species and the importance of conservation efforts both in breeding and of their habitats. We will also have the advantage of a behind the scenes tour and be able to interact with some of these amazing animals. I can't wait!
Before our trip, I wanted to go over a few of the necessary details with everybody.
First, I have linked a form below that I need filled out and sent back to me as soon as possible.
Itinerary:
March 15th 2022
We plan to meet at the Seminole Forest Trial head in Cassia at noon for a picnic lunch. Then we will head over to the facility
Please wear closed toe shoes.
Consider wearing a hat and using unscented sunscreen as some of the tour is outside. You might consider an environmentally and animal safe
repellant as well.
Bring your questions! Sydney, our tour guide will answer questions about the project and is always
interested in educating you.
The tour will include smaller areas at times. We will break into smaller groups. Please
do not wander or allow children to wander. This is a working conservation facility.
ADDRESS to the Orianne Center for Indigo Conservation:
30931 Brantley Branch Rd. Eustis Florida 32736
Remember, we are meeting at the Seminole Forest Trail Head for lunch before we head over to OCIC. The trail head is on the left, about 1 mile before the OCIC on Brantley Branch Rd, Eustis, FL 32736.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me and I will do my best to address them in a timely manner.
Have a great afternoon!
Kind regards,
Jessica
